Price Paid:  $250.00 at ebay

Favorite Ride:
anywhere

Bike Setup:
Lemond OCLV/steel with Dura-Ace, Neuvation wheels.

Summary:
I found the Ouzo Pro vesion to be "whippy" on high speed rough sections and I'm only a 150 lb rider. The Ouzo Pro Peleton seems to be a more sturdy fork. I replaced the Bontrager fork on my Lemond OCLV/steel road bike with an Ouzo Pro. I all fairness it was a 43 rake and the frame specified a 45 rake. i then replaced that with a 45 Peleton and the handling characteristics and whippiness improved dramatically. You wouldn't think 2mm of rake would make that much difference, but it did.

Strengths:
High quality well made fork that is more aero and sturdier than the regular version.

Weaknesses:
none

Similar Products Used:
Ouzo Pro, Bontrager Race, various aluminium/carbon forks.

Price Paid:  $325.00 at Excel Sports online

Favorite Ride:
Downhill with a Tailwind

Bike Setup:
Moots.

Summary:
Responsive, predictable, smooth. Dampens vibration fairly well. No noticeable flex on fast turns. Steerer tube is round and precisely 1 1/8". Very well made product. This is more of race fork than a touring, long distance riding fork. This fork has less flex, a little bit less vibration damping than the standard Ouzo Pro version. ( most would not notice.) This fork is probably better suited for heavier riders 180+, or strong sprinters.)

Strengths:
Responsive. Smooth ride. Nice finish. High quality, dependable product.

Weaknesses:
Me.

Similar Products Used:
Look HSC3 all carbon. Easton EC70 w/ alloy steerer. Look Carbon with alloy steerer. Ouzo Pro (2 months)

Price Paid:  $329.00 at Excel website

Favorite Ride:
any road with no cars of glass

Bike Setup:
Merckx M3 ti with DA-9 and various wheels.

Summary:
Compared with the Look HSC 3 that I replaced, this fork is great (see my review of the Look). It handles exactly as it should and my bike now goes where I point it. It makes the front end feel rock solid but still smooth.

Strengths:
Perfect handling. Very solid.

Weaknesses:
Weight, price.

Similar Products Used:
Look HSC 3, Ouzo Pro, Steelman steel, Merckx OEM made by AME
