Strength:

Road feel, steering, precision, vibration damping, great looking fork.

Weakness:

no clearance for fenders

My Gunnar Street Dog was built by its original owner with the Ouzo Comp. I would have chosen the Gunnar fork myself, but because of the tire clearance, not the quality. The Ouzo Comp is a great fork. It's very comfortable to ride and is just in tune with the light responsive feel of the bike. Construction quality is top notch. Finish is flawless.

Strength:

Price - a bit over $100 for discontinued intergrated headset model.

Weakness:

None

I bought this fork on clearance to replace an all carbon Litespeed Real Design fork on a 2004 Firenze. Before the fork change, the bike tended to oscillate two or three times whenever I put a little sideways jolt or shake into the handlebars (rider error/lack of smoothness) while changing hand positions or grabbing a drink of water.

After changing out the RealDesign fork and installing the Reynolds, the shake/shimmy is gone. The new fork also feels a bit sharper and firmer, not as plush.

It also weighs a bit less than the carbon steerer Real Design fork despite having an alloy steerer.

I'm very pleased.

Looks good

Weakness:

Very poor quality control.

Purchased this fork for a new Gunnar Roadie frame I built up myself. The quality control is non existent. I can not get the fork to spin freely on the headset bearings. I believe that the tube is slightly misaligned with the fork crown. Because of this the bike wobbles in high speed corners. Also, the brake mounting hole is at least 5 degrees off center. I had to get use a large wrench to force the front brake arms into alignment pretty much ruining a good set of brakes. I am looking for a different fork and will not buy Reynolds again.

Strength:

Solid, predictable, and stable ride characteristics. Good vibration dampening.

Weakness:

Non unless you have 2% body fat and can think of no other ways to shed a few grams.

Great fork. Tons of vibration dampening and very solid and stable. Tracks very well and provides consistent feed back in corners and on crazy downhill runs. Not the lightest of forks out there but then again it has a aluminum crown and steerer. However, this also means less worry about damaging carbon during set up and adjustment.

I switched from an Easton Carbon fork (EC-70) as was amazed at the improvement in the ride quality.

Strength:

Light in weight... Very stiff... Eye catcher... Same performance as the Ouzo Pro but at a fraaction of the cost.

Weakness:

None so far...

This product is very great... can soak up bumps on the road. Had used this for training both on sprints and climbs. There are flashy products out there but this Ouzo Comp really rocks...
