Strengths:    Soaks up the bumps. Good looks. Cheap for what you get.

Weaknesses:    Not the lightest carbon fork, but light enough.

Bottom Line:
This is a review of the cross version. It was a great upgrade to my straight bladed alloy fork. I don't feel like I am beating myself up every time I ride!

First Carbon Bike Felt F5 2011 v Scott CR1 Comp

I need to replace my Felt F70 after it was hit by a red light jumping car (fortunately it was low speed and I was only shaken). I naturally looked at Felt having enjoyed the outgoing aluminium bike and the F5 is in the right price bracket. Then I saw the Scott CR1 2011 as well and that looks int ... Read More »

Hello Everyone!! I've been in the mountain biking scene for a while and last year did a lot of road riding on my 35 lb full squish bike (which resulted in some legs of steel, lol). I'm looking into getting a road bike to do some cross training for MTB'ing as well as some road races and triathl ... Read More »
