Strengths: Light, stiff, good fit and appearanceWeaknesses: NoneBottom Line: I bought this fork to replace the Ultra fork (carbon blades with Al steerer) on my Cannodale CAAD9. The WCS UD came out of the box at 288.7 g, under the advertised 300 g. After cutting to size for my 56 cm frame it is 267.5 g, saving 0.67 lb over the old fork. The fit is perfect for my integrated headset frame, looking like it was original to the bike. The rake (43 mm) is the same as the old fork, so the handling was unaffected. But the difference in road feel is amazing. The whole front end seems quicker and more responsive. This fork is stiff but it absorbs road shocks well. I considered buying the Alpha-Q or Reynolds forks, but they no longer seem to be avilable. Fortunately, the Ritchey WCS UD is no compromise. A great upgrade at a significant weight savings, and at a reasonable price.
