Strengths: Compliant, paint, overall feel, full carbon forkWeaknesses: all aluminum frameBottom Line: I bought this bike frame and fork used off ebay. I needed a larger frame that fit me properly. I couldn't decide between the CAAD6, 7, or 8. I chose the 8 because they were all basically the same price (~$400). I was able to transfer everything over from my previous bike to the new frame/fork. It is amazing compared to my other bike (Velorazzo Vincetore)! The frame and fork are much more compliant (have more flex) than my previous frame/fork. The ride is much more smooth and easier to handle. It is also about a pound lighter than my previous (coming in at 4.1 lbs.). The frame is very nice, although it says ' Cannondale ' three times on each side, and has writing on each tube ('Cannondale' 3x, 'handmade in USA' 1x, and 'R900' 1x).
I am very happy with my new bike frame!
