Bike Setup: Campy Record 10, FSA compact pro cranks, ITM bar/stem
Summary: My 62cm frame built up at 17.7 lbs w/Campy Record 10 and Bontrager Race X-Lite wheels. Rides more like a steel frame, not harsh, but stiff. Extremely laid-back geometry, super-stable. Not an ideal crit bike, but perfect for a longer road race.
Bike Setup: Eddy Merckx Race full Record, Deda bar and stem, Merckx carbon post and Aspide saddle.
Summary: I took quite a bit of time picking a frame. The most important thing was the fit and geometry. I have had a lot of pro bike and I knew exactly what I need to have. It came down to the Merckx and Colnago. When I found out Merckx lenghened thier top tube a bit this year that made my choice. This bike has proven to be everything I wanted. It is light, comfortable, looks great and rock solid out of the saddle. Handling is great and feels better the faster you go. If you want a great Euro bike that you won't see ten of at your next century you can't go wrong here.
Strengths: All of the above.
Weaknesses: Could use a little more clear coat.
