    Bike Setup:
    2005 Fort Komet/TT
PZ Race carbon aero bladed fork
    Vision Tech base and aerobars
    Ultegra drivetrain
    Renn 575 disc
    HED Jet 60 front
    Neuvation M28 training wheels

    Summary:
I was in the market for a decently priced tri/tt bike that I could assemble with some of the parts I already had lying around the garage. With a baby on the way and a few bikes already, I decided that I was going to try and be a bit more budget-minded this time around. I searched for about 3 months on various brands. My budget was $600 for the frame. One day, I stumbled across the Fort website and their frames caught my attention. They have a somewhat steep seat tube angle, wheel cutout and are full alumninum. I was in the market for all aluminum because: 1. I am a pretty big guy at 6'1", 190. 2. I do mostly short course tris. I called and spoke a few time with Greg, who was a tremendous help. We talked about my measurements and how I liked to ride(really steep, close to 80 degrees). He pointed me towards one of their closeout Komet/TT frames for $350. We decided on a frame and I paid via CC. The frame was at my door in 4 days. It was well protected and in great shape. I put it together over the week and have put some good rides in on it. It is a very good looking bike and I get compliments on it all the time. It is a bright yellow and white, which I wasn't fond of initially. It's growing on me and it'll be easy to find in transisiton. Tri season has yet to start but I have ridden 3 TT's and done numerous brick workouts.
Overall, I would highly recommend this bike.

    Strengths:
This frame is stiff. No flex at all that I can feel so far. The measurements for the frame just seem to work great for me. I had a professional fit done prior to buying so I knew what I needed. The geometry is not too aggressive, but is still good if you have a decent drop to the bars. The aero cutout on my bike leaves very little room between the tire and the frame, even with the vertical dropouts(which is good!).

    Weaknesses:
Really I don't have any so far. When I ordered the frame, Greg mentioned that the frame used a Campy style headset. He offered to include one for $30, which I declined. In retrospect, I should have taken it because I played hell waiting for a headset. None of the local bike shops stocked one. I had to wait to build the bike until I ordered a new headset. I just wish they would have used a more standard headset. Not an issue with the bike or the company though in any way.

    Bike Setup:
    Cinelli Angel Bars
    RENN 575 Disc Wheel.
    Michelin Tires
    Stella Azzurra Seat Post
    DA spd components 55-42 gearing
    Cane Creek Brakes.

    Summary:
A great TT frame that is quite comfy. Most people ride TT bikes that are converted road bikes. ALthouh that works, you really feel a difference when you ride a bike designed for aero-work. THe FORT KOMET-TT is great for Time Trialling and I was quite comfortable on 2 hour rides while I was getting the bike dialled in.

    Strengths:
Aero Tubing, very low profile looking down at Top Tube. Legal Bike with the UCI. Comfy over longer distances. Knowledgeable staff at FORT. Just call them!

Price Paid:  $399.00 at Fort Frames

    Favorite Ride:
    Wednesday night time trials

    Bike Setup:
62CM with Kestrel EMS Pro fork. Cane Creek S2 headset. Thomson seat post with a WTB Laser V saddle.

    Summary:
Purchased frame, fork, and full build kit (less wheels) from Gregg Dion at Fort Frames USA in March. The frame is the RO.AERO TT standard frame(no sloping top tube) I purchased the frame for a Triathlon specific bike and it has turned out better than I ever expected. I am 6' 4" tall and weigh 200 lbs. The frame does not flex at all. The ride is incredible. Very stiff, smooth, and most importantly fast. Can only say positive things about the frame and Gregg at Fort.

I am actually considering selling my Trek 5200 and getting another Fort for my road bike. This bike is that good. I have received more compliments for this bike than on all bikes I've owned combined.

    Strengths:
    1. Value - For $399 dollars you will not find a frame that compares at double the price. Maybe triple. I was willing to spend much more when this frame was purchased, but very happy that I didn't.
    2. Ride - Very smooth and fast. Have yet to finish out of the top 25 for overall bike splits for a triathlon this season. Some races had as many as a thousand people. This bike is the real deal. My road bike is a Trek 5200 Carbon Fiber and this bike is nearly as comfortable.
    3. Paint - Maybe the best paint job is the industry. The most durable thats for sure. Not a mark anywhere on the frame after 1500 miles. Very easy to clean. You have to love the powder coat finish.
    4. Flex - There is none. Very important at my weight. Transfer of power is instantaneous when you sprint (group ride sprint zones or trying to get away from a wheel sucker during a race)
    5. Gregg Dion - Gregg is the nicest guy you will ever deal with. He has an incredible amount of knowledge about the industry and takes the time to answer any and all questions you might have. (I had a lot)
    6. Handling - This frame is as stable in a group ride at a steady 25 - 28 MPH through corners as it is flying down a hill at over

    Weaknesses:
OK....I'm reaching here...it's very difficult to get the seat post in and out. I only take it out when traveling to races because the bike is so big at 62cm that it can not be stood up inside my truck so other bikes can fit.

Nothing other than that. I truly love my bike.
