at colorado cyclist Favorite Ride: any one with some climbing Bike Setup: similar to the 7-up bike with ritchey post, stem, and bar, mostly ultegra. I've got some pretty heavy wheels on it and it comes in at just under 19 pounds. Summary: It's a top of the line bike and is great for climbing and can sprint as good as any. When setting it up I noticed that it had very little space between the small chainring and the chain stay (only 3 or 4 millimeters with an ultegra bb). I called about this and was told not to worry, and frame simply will not flex there I was told. So don't worry if this is the case with your bike. I have no complaints, I feel that it is a pro level bike that deserves someone who wants to put it through the full range of road riding and racing. Strengths: Wieght is good (2.6), the stiffness is amazing. The ride of the bike is very smooth and is not harsh at all in the saddle but will jump when you get up and hammer on it. I also found out that this is no mass produced frame. It is hand built is austrlia and is in limited supply as of mid summer (2001) Weaknesses: The price is a little steep, and the color may not be liked by all riders. If you can get by the color and bite the bullet in the price there are really no weaknesses Similar Products Used: schwinn peloton pro (2000, steel)
