Unlike other frames this is not a show TT frame. 730TT is for real. With it’s 78 degree seat angle, horizontal dropouts (with set screws), stiff aero wing seat, and chain stays (improves wind resistance). You get an extremely stable solid tight ride. Constructed from 7005 aluminum. If you have been waiting to take the lead now is the time!
Strengths: value for money
forward geometry drops you right on the bars
adjustable rear end dropout
Weaknesses: sizing only S 51, M 54 and L 57 and XL availabe.
chain hits frame on smallest cog when rear wheel is set all forward for aer0 advantage
paint finish is not very durable,
but a this pricepoint....
Bottom Line:
I bought this frame when in need for a new budget TT frame and fork, from the leader specs.I have used it for the 2006 season and found it to be well designed, aerodynamic and stiff enough.Had to modify the seat angle with a setback as I was hitting my knees on the aero bars at first. But after that it was easy to ride and noticably faster in ful aero setup with aerowheels and bars.
The matching fork I found to be even better value at 150 USD. Very stiff and aero.
