2013 Litespeed T5 is a Century Rider's Dream Bike! Coming from the shadows of the 2012 Xicon, the 2013 Litespeed T5 will match and 1-up both the comfort and performance of last year's frame. The geometry is design around the idea of comfort and stability, made for any rider that is tired of the tiny head tubes. However, the greatest thing is... There has been no lost to performance! In fact, that too is improved. Similar to its big brothers, T1 and T3, the T5 is build with both the PF30 bottom bracket and the 44mm oversized headtube. These will give you the extra edge when trying to catch that young rider in font of you. Features: -Frame: T3 Technology - Tapered, Shaped, Oversized 3Al/2.5V tubing. -Sizes: XS, S, M, ML, L, XL -Available Colors: Bright Brushed (Removeable Decals) -Head Tube: Oversized 44mm, Tapered Fork Compatable -Weight: 1500 Grams -Geometry: Larger headtube for added hand height -Hand Made In USA
Strengths: Very stiff yet still able to provide a smooth ride
My first Ti ride and I have to say this bike is a dream to ride. Not sure how it provides an extremely stiff platform under load (I am 195 lbs) yet be able to soak up the road bumps. I think the 44mm head tube and PF30 BB have to do something to increase stiffness and the seat stays and Ti materials do it for compliance. I love this bike! My Cannondale Supersix HiMod has been idle since I built this thing up. Great job Litespeed!
Anyone have any experience with these guys?
There is a US distrib on ebay that is selling them.
One concern of mine was why they are only rated for tire inflation under 125psi? For tubulars too... ?????
Not sure if it's a legal thing or what.
