Strengths: looks and works well in the beginning.Weaknesses: subpar materials resulting in crack.Bottom Line: ride was awesome in the beginning. but 3 years later, crack develops at the headtube under the headtube/downtube joint. this happens on a normal ride. e-mailed litespeed/abg about it. at first they said the packing slips were legitimate PoF's, and that they would replace the headtube. then subsequent emails say that i don't have legitimate PoF's and that they wouldn't replace the headtube.

Strengths: Beautiful shape, weldsWeaknesses: Obviously saying Ti is safer, more durable than carbon is not the case. This frame looks great, no signs of wrecks and tubing is cracked like a plumbers butt.Bottom Line: This review is for Litespeed GET Vortex Compact '06 model. I got it used off of ebay, previous history shows no abuse, frame looked great otherwise. Problem? Cracked 6/4 ti tubing on downtube, across the weld and straight into the downtube. This shows a serious problem with the raw material Litespeed is using, not so much workmanship, welds look beautiful. This is my second Litespeed, other was a Ghisallo. Contacting Litespeed to see what they do to resolve this issue. Hope it's satisfactory or maybe these tubing defects should be recalled via CPSC.
