Price Paid:  $3500.00 at LBS

Favorite Ride:
hills hills....and Hills

Bike Setup:
Dura-Ace 10, FSA Carbon Mega-Axo double crank, FSA K-Wing carbon bar, FSA K-force seatpost, Elite Carbon cages, the Sella San Marco Aspide Carbon Saddle and Look Keo Carbon TI pedals and Mavic ES wheels. Micheline Pro 2 race tires, Micheline tubes.

Summary:
Amazing ride. I am a climber through and through, and only noticed a bit of shake in a cross wind with my Mavic Cosmic Carbon wheels, but due to the exagerated (and super sexy) frame design, it gets a bit shaky on the downhills and in the wind. Part of this is probably that it is only a 53 and I weigh only about 150 too. The other two reviews mention weight, but with my set-up the total weight came in just over 15 pounds, so its plenty light. An amazing rocket, where you can feel your energy being completely transmited right into the bike.

Strengths:
speed, agility, acceleration, super stiff yet smooth as silk. Excellent climbing machine and amazing lines and geometry. This bike is a work of art that perfoms just as beautifully.

Weaknesses:
not super stable in a crosswind, but not to bad. I live in a failry windy area but climb so much its not kmuch of an issue until the descent.

None this nice as of yet.

Price Paid:  $3300.00 at McGhies-Las Vegas

Favorite Ride:
I don't have a favorite ride... Yet!!!

Bike Setup:
See above...

Summary:
All I can say is this baby hauls butt, I "Retired" my 18yr old Custom Holland (TSX Tubing)and full Campy C-Record, Mavic Whls... For this "Gem".
It's the Orange/Grey 2tone paint, Dura-Ace derails, Shifters & Brakes, Stronglight Pulsion Cranks, Fulcrum Racing 1 wheelset and FSA K-wing bars.
It just seems to be "Gliding on air as I ride, There's NO Comparison to my old ride.
And it really responds when I'm out of the saddle.
It's stiff and yet "Satin Smooth", I don't know how they did it...
It's GREAT knowing you have a "PRO-Tour" Quality ride under you to really give you a sense of confidence when the hills come.
And like the previous review said, It's not the lightest ride out there but I LOVE THIS ROCKET.

Strengths:
It climbs, It sprints, It descends, It just flat does it ALL in my opinion...
I'd also like to test ride the 585 someday...

Weaknesses:
It's alittle pricey, But you get what you pay for... And this thing was worth ever penny...

Similar Products Used:
There's no other ride like this one...
