$0.00 Bike Setup: sram rival, fsa wheels, oval concepts bar/stem, bonty xxx spost, san marco zoncolan saddle, ultegra spd sl, kmc chain Summary: changes people perceptions of what a road bike can do! We have a demo bike set up which various staff havve used, and is my current ride of choice.
It lives up to all the hype will appeal to riders who may not usually ride a road race bike.
Strengths: light, stiff, comfy and bling. Really takes off when you power down and decends superbly. Weaknesses: if you break it, it stays broke! Similar Products Used: trek madone, condor legero, scott cr1, colnago c50, bmc etc.

at Bothell Ski & Bike Bike Setup: Ultegra/FSA drivetrain
FSA bars, stem, seatpost
Look Keo pedals
Topolino wheels Summary: My first full carbon bike after years on full aluminum and aluminum/carbon blends. Full carbon frames have always felt inert and wooden to me, but the technology and engineering seems to have finally caught up to the hype. This is the best all around bike frame I've ever ridden. Strengths: Supple yet lively carbon ride. Rigid front end and bottom bracket. Climbs well. Weaknesses: Front end a bit twitchy. Similar Products Used: Cannondale Six13

$0.00 Summary: I have owned a 555 and now a 585. Before I got the 585, I demoed the 566 quite a bit. Now a friend of mine owns one, and we trade off on group rides sometimes.
The 566 is a good blend of the 555 and the 585. It's not as immediate as the 585, but it's more smooth and solid feeling over the road than my 555 was.
I'm at a loss why the previous review thinks it to be a poor climber when every "professional review" says there-in lies it's strength. Here's a quote from Bicycling Mag. "the bike held its speed well on rolling terrain, and at times seemed to almost be moving forward of its own accord. It proved to be a gifted climber, especially on steep, out-of-the-saddle ascents, where it surged ahead with every turn of the pedals."
Strengths: Looks, smooth, solid. Weaknesses: The stock Ultegra bike is a little heavy for the price Similar Products Used: Look 555, Look 585

at Pure Energy Cycle La Favorite Ride: Look 566 Ultegra components Bike Setup: Stock 566 white and black with San Marco seat and Keo clips. Summary: Previous bike was a Giant OCR 1 2004. The Look was responsive and very tight and balanced in turning and very true at higher speeds (25 -30 MPH). The shifting on the Ultegra components was rapid and smooth. The handle bar has a flat configuation at the stem which makes it very comfortable to grasp. I wear LG carbon sole shoes in Keo clips which work great. By providing power to the pedals I noticed the transmission of energy was instant without any pause nor snap in the frame. The bike is a looker and it does stand out in a crowd. The first 20 miles have been problem free and I am very contnent with my decision. Strengths: Very light, good price compared to others I tested and reviewed. Sharp looking and I think the color scheme makes it stand out. I do like the carbon seat post as it seems to cushion the bumps a little more. The riding position seems to be the most comfortable of all the bikes I tried. Others seem to have you bent over a little too much for the type of riding I do. Weaknesses: No weaknesses found to date, the only problem is locating a Look dealer who sells the complete package. I am not concerned because I beleive Look will stand behind their product should a problem arise. Similar Products Used: Tested Specialized Roubaix, Giant, Trek and Cannondale full carbons
