    Strength:

    -Excellent buld quality
-Fits me perfectly - size Large for a 6' 185lbs guy
-Outstanding ride dynamics- extremely responsive and fun to ride

    Weakness:

Very rigid for long rides but still fun

I've now ridden this bike for 15 years and covered about 20,000 miles and it has been bombproof and flawless. Solid construction, durable, comfortable, aerodynamic, a hill-climbing monster at it's finest!!!

Because I have a sore lower back I installed a Rockshox suspension post when I first got this bike and despite the weight it was a great decision.

My dream is that Santa Cruz re-issues this road bike for those of us in LaLa land.

    Strength:

    Agile, responsive, stiff, comfortable

    Weakness:

seat post binder uses an unorthodox cam rather than a pinch bolt. You really have to tighten it down. They should have devised an aero fairing like cervelo.

These are quite rare now because production stopped a few years ago, but if you find one at a fair price it would be worth a look.
I enjoy riding mine a lot, and I get a lot of questions about it at races.

    Strength:

    Stiff Great looks price weight.

    Weakness:

Maybe a bit too stiff Easton carbon post undersized for seattube (changed to Raceface).

Love the compact geometry and looks of the Roadster. The frame is light and extremely stiff which translates into straight ahead speed and no flexing when climbing out of the saddle. Good for big, strong riders...
