    Strength:

Light, tight, solid, and does it at a great price. Refined engagement.

    Weakness:

Using it on a Shimano bike will require a special cassette. It's heavier than the units from Chris King and Hugi, but those cost twice as much.

This may as well be a review for Chorus and Record as well, since these hubs are all essentially identical. For about $120 it weighs less than DuraAce, spins comparably smooth, has finer engagement and tighter tolerances all around. Forget about comparing it to Ultegra. Sounds nice too, a lot like the newer Hugi hubs. It's nice getting to lose the cheap, generic ticking sound Shimano units make. Call me petty. Basically, I think the build quality of this hub is more comparable to Chris King or Hugi than it is to Shimano (even DuraAce), which makes it just killer for the price. The tradeoff is more weight than those high-price units. Arguably the best piece of the Daytona group.

    Strength:

Price- You are really paying for last years chorus hubs, light considering the price.

    Weakness:

    Does'nt have any.

The hubs are great value for money, I have matrix rims but they really deserve better, I might get them rebuilt onto open pro cds and then they be awesome wheels. I haven't seen any cracking as per the record/chorus hubs so far.
