a CommuterDate Reviewed: October 18, 2011
Strengths: Brakes, gearing, ride, it's pretty, seat, upright stance, can do both free wheel and fixed.Weaknesses: Upright stance ,gearing could be higher for those that like to go fast, tires could be a bit slimmer to accept fenders, handlebar could be shorter, seat post
Bottom Line: It has a very smooth ride. I think that's because of it's relatively light weight at 22 lbs. The 700 x 26 tires matched with a medium gear combo of 44t/16t makes taking off from a stand still very easy.
For those used to aggressive frames, the stem can be adjusted to counter the upright stance. The brakes are quite good even though it's generic and the seat post isn't the greatest.
Bottom line? It's more of a traditional commuter in that it excels at comfort over long distances.
Favorite Ride: khs urban soul 2009

$220.00
Purchased At: Craigslist

Bike Setup: Medium size stock with the exception of the stem turned upside down to lower the front a bit so the feeling is less comfort bike and more road racing. Installed brackets for clip on fenders. But I will upgrade the grips, put on toe clips, replace the seat with a narrower profile and when the tires need to be replaced, I'll be going with 700x25 or less.
