at Mountain Sports - Br Favorite Ride: hills and valleys of east TN Bike Setup: Specialized Sirrus Expert 2009, Specialized Road Pro drop bars, S-Works Pave carbon fiber seatpost, Rol Volant wheelset, TransIt rack, MiNewt Dual X2 Lights Summary: I'm a commuter, a rec rider, and do a charity ride every month in season. Despite the fact I've modified the bike quite a bit, I'm really happy with it. It's fast, responsive and very comfortable. I ride it three times a week 9 miles each way back and forth from work, do at least 35 miles over the weekends, and ride a charity run of a minimum of 25 miles monthly. Granted that isn't much compared to some of the hard-core crankers you see in here, but it's a steady accumulation of miles. The bike has held up well and I have not had any issues with anything. Strengths: Fast, responsive, comfortable, extremely wide ratio of gears Weaknesses: Flat handlebars are very limiting unless you plan to use the bike strictly for city-style commuting. My commute is rural and open-road and the flat bars just didn't work for me. Similar Products Used: None. I just got back into cycling a year ago after a hiatus of about 20 years.
