Price Paid:  $0.00

Model Year:
2007

Bike Setup:
Probably fine considering the questionable quality of the components.

Summary:
I was impressed with the visual appeal of the Hot Wheels Sixty-8 from the cool images available from the FELT Website and was into the Hot Wheels affiliation as well as the 40 year anniversary 68 logo (This year I myself turned 40). Budget wasn't an issue, just wanted a cool bike for recreational purposes that had the quality.
On the first ride it was kinda fun but the chain kept getting stuck between the wheel and frame. Over about 10 rides the chain got stuck more than 50 times. I took the bike back twice to be set up but the problem kept occurring. The third time they totally changed the gear alignment / spacing etc. A total design flaw from FELT who have this bike as their most expensive cruiser. So now my paintwork and chain are damaged and have lost hours of my life due to taking the bike back 3 times with absolutely no compensation.

Strengths:
Looks very cool!

Weaknesses:
Quality, quality, quality.
You can't back pedal or even stop pedaling without the chain getting slammed between the wheel and frame. The brakes rub constantly and the resistance is brutal. Cheap poor quality components.

Similar Products Used:
Trek mountain bike, absolutely no problems for over ten years at less than 1/4 the price.
