at River City Bikes Model Year: 2007 Favorite Ride: Road and Rails to Trailss Bike Setup: Cantilever brakes. Wide spaced chain rings and wide spaced rear cluster, Terry Buzz-off seat, Crank Brothers pedals, Continental 4 Season tires 700x28 with liners 90 to 95 lbs (I'm 6'2" 195lbs and ride the XL frame). Summary: The 08 Poprad is the most comfortable road ride I've ever experienced. On rough roads or rough bike paths it is just great - much better than my carbon fiber Trek road bike and only a bit slower. No single track experience with it yet. Strengths: Smooth ride. Comfortable riding position. Weaknesses: 1. Must change to lower and wider gear spacing or it really isn't suitable for hills. 2. Many shops don't realize that the cantilever brakes must be toed in toward the rear (toward the oncoming rim) to get power and to avoid fork shudder. Similar Products Used: Trek carbon fiber road bike.
