Strengths: Great aluminum frame, you can tell by the tubing that they really took some time developing this frame. Carbon forks, yet to snap and add even more stiffness to this incredibly responsive bike. Shimano 105 Group, FSA crankset, decent saddle
Weaknesses: Handlebars are average, nothing special to be said about them.
I paid 800 for this bike brand new on pricepoint and I plan to race it with minimal upgrading. Am i crazy? Not at all! It really is that good of a deal.. Dont let Diamondbacks "walmart bike" reputation turn you off, they know their stuff and this bike proves that. On the road the knobby tires work well but once you hit the dirt, or mud, or grass, the bike just flys! Such an awesome feeling to finally ride up to the trail on this. The bike responds like none other ive ever ridden (let it be known im a novice to cyclocross) and Its just a blast to ride.
Good luck finding a lighter bike with better components or looks than this one for anything less, you wont.
I am looking at getting a new bike. My friend has a cross bike and loves it. He told me to look at getting the same for versatility. I have narrowed it down to one of these bikes. Although, the Haanjo is technically an "alternative road" bike.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
