• Alloy cross frame priced for anyone who has ever wanted to try cross, or set up a city bike or a touring bike. Double butted 7005 tubes and integrated headset, bottle boss mounts on down tube only, replaceable rear dropout, mudguard eyelets on rear dropouts.
• Carbon cross fork (aluminum steerer), with mudguard eyelets
•Alpina alloy black satin finish seatpost
Strengths: Price. Fairly aggressive geometry but comfortable enough to ride as a commuter.
Weaknesses: Heavy
Bottom Line:
Was looking for a bike to build up for cross season and after looking at the Salsa and Kona I decided to by the Dolan. It's a great bike for the money. It's a comfortable ride for aluminum and is quick on trails. This frame would be great as a commuter bike. I've ridden my citycross on the local training ride.
