at Performance Bike Setup: All Dura Ace 7800 single ring setup, Ciamillo Zero Gravity (awesome),AlphaQ CX20 (no chatter),Paul ChainKeeper (brilliant),Wheelset Dave's Dream (ZTR355,DT swiss 240) Summary: I have owned a ti bike and figured ti would be a great material for cyclocross. To start out everyone rants and raves about Lynskey welds and workmanship, my particular bike, ProCross was average the welds where decent the finish good BUT the studs for the canti brakes where off I bought TRP EuroX carbon brakes and they would not hit the rims correctly, I ended up buying Ciamillo Zero Gravity canti brakes. This should not have been the case with any bike let alone a bike of this reputation. Now the good news after the let down of weld aesthetics (I owed a 1999 Ultimate with brilliant welds) and poor tolerance for the canti studs, the bike rides awesome. Yes,awesome, I own a Calfee custom tetra-pro and this bike off the shelf fits and rides better,go figure. Strengths: The ride and the fit (at least for me)especially for cross. Weaknesses: I must say that the welds where disappointing (relatively speaking) BUT their is NO excuse for the poor tolerance on the stud placements!! Similar Products Used: Kelly and IF
