Price Paid:  $0.00 at Bicycle Doctor

Model Year:
2007

Favorite Ride:
Lunchtime

Bike Setup:
DA 10sp with SRAM 11-26, Ritchey WCS Compact Carbon 50-36 cranks, Speedplay Frog pedals, Avid 6 brakes, Mavic SSC SL wheels with Conti GP 4 Season 700X28 tires or 700x30 Conti 'cross tires for the trails.

Summary:
I bought this bike and built up to be versatile go anywhere travel bike. At just under 18 pounds with all running gear, it is perfect for city streets, commuting, bike paths, the occasional moderate single track, and just about anywhere you are willing and your skills allow you to go. Carrying a set of 'cross tires along on trips, a quick tire change and you are off on trial (very handy in some European countries). All day comfort, light weight, climbs well. GREAT cruising bike. My favorite for social riding!

Strengths:
Quick assembly and disassembly when traveling (25 minutes and you're ready to ride). Cross geometry is perfect go anywhere design. Brushed TI finish does not scratch like paint with rigors of airline travel. Comes with case! NO airline surcharges. Packs with all cycling clothes, shoes etc and still under 40lbs for travel.

Weaknesses:
TSA loves to pull it out of the case even though it will go through the X-Ray Machine and never repacks it correctly, so carry minor parts in other luggage. Don't take CO2 cartridges with you as TSA takes them, so get a small floor pump (packs in with bike).
