Strengths:    Good quality at decent price. You get disc brakes, 10 speed, touring levers (i like them) and the bike feels solid and durable. I found the bike is surprisingly good at climbing gravelly hills with the stock tires. The bike looks nice in black with red and white paint job and its comfortable for a road bike. There is room for wide tires and places to bolt on racks and fenders should one ever decide to go on tour with it.

Weaknesses:    Not geared so great for use as a roadbike, but my friendly bike shop upgraded the cassette to a 105 11/28 for a small fee and that makes it plenty fast. The tires that came with it were hybrid tires only inflatable up to 70 psi so I replaced those. The hybrid rims seem a bit cheapy and the smallest tire they can take is 700c 28, but they also can take some very big tires which might be good too.

Bottom Line:
I bought this 2013 solo cx for use as a rugged road bike that can handle broken pavement or the odd trail, with good braking in wet weather, and I want it to last a long time. After 3 months riding it so far I am very happy with this bike.

Strengths:    Price, Jagwire cable housing, stong wheelset (wtb Freedom), cx5 disc brake.

Weaknesses:    poor wheel assembly (offset), really cheap hubs, flatten part under top tube in front instead of in the middle, heavy tires. IS discmount instead of direct.

Bottom Line:
2013 solo cx model, bought this 1 for its low price, but came a few down part to original and frame quality. should have look at Jamis or Norco. Had to shorten the stem from 120mm to 100mm.
