Strengths:    Awesome ride. Built to my proportions and riding needs.

Weaknesses:    None

Bottom Line:
Just got this bike before riding it in 2 of the most challenging CX courses I have done. The Mudhoney performed flawlessly.

I decided on the Mudhoney because I needed a custom build to get a decent fit. Most bikes are too tall or not long enough for me, especially CX bikes. I went with the Ti to get the best possible ride.

When I picked it up from Sonne's I only had to make a couple of minor adjustments from Seven's recommendations to compensate for the saddle choice.

This is the first bike I've had that has exceeded expectations. This was surprising to me because my expectations were quite high due to the custom build. The moment I got on the bike it felt right. Once on the rough terrain it felt even better. My Fuji Cross Pro was so harsh I needed a suspension seatpost to make it rideable on rough courses. The Mudhoney has such a sweet ride that I never missed it. I feel so much more part of the bike and in control than on any of my other bikes, especially the Fuji.

The frame is perfectly suited to my needs. Stiff enough to respond when I need it but forgiving enough to take on the roughest CX course.

If I were to do it again I would only rethink a couple of very, very minor things:
-Upgrade the fork to the WCS model and consider lighter rims (to save nearly a pound which would bring it to about 20 lbs. with pedals).
-Consider a different crankset only for more chainring options.
