at Revolution Cycles Model Year: 2003 Favorite Ride: 1994 Kona Fire Mountain Bike Setup: I added a set of locking skewers and leave it outside all the time. So far nothing has been stolen except my bell. I swapped the stock swept back bars for some bontrager antlers. They look really good and are comfortable. Also I added stainless steel v-brake ends. Summary: Great city bike. I rode this to work every day for two years. It is smooth and fast. Also, the chain guard is great if you are wearing pants that you want to keep clean. I still occasionally get compliments on this bike, sometimes from pretty girls. I would buy another one for sure. Strengths: It's light, fast and was super cheap to buy. I use it all the time to get around town. I've never had to do anything to it other than lube the breaks.
Oh, and it comes with a huge angry clown horn, which is totally sweet. Weaknesses: The stock sweep back bars weren't comfortable, so I replaced them. The stock brake pads made a real mess of the rims, but those got replaced when they wore out.
Also I was worried that some street thug would steel the clown horn, so I keep that in my house.
Finally the v-break metal ends rusted, so I replaced them when I replaced my brake pads. Similar Products Used: Bianchi Milano. This bike has the same frame and is lighter since it doesn't have a heavy 8-speed hub. Although, I have to say sometimes when I am going up hills in the summer, I miss the 8-speed hub.
