Price Paid:  $1050.00 at Ajo Bike

Model Year:
2006

Favorite Ride:
With the kids

Bike Setup:
I added a computer (and a Ti bottle cage just for laughs.) Rack trunk and kick stand - too bad they're not cool, they're super useful. One of these days I'll add mudguards (ditto).

Summary:
A great, quality bike for climbing on and RIDING. Handles well, nice gear range. No cleats or lycra required - just enjoy the ride. This is what I ride almost all the time now.

Strengths:
Like when you were a kid, and a bike was a bike - not a road or mountain or whatever bike! Go for a ride, sit up and have a look around. Nice to have a good rack that fits. Disc and drum brakes mean no gritty pads chewing up the rims.

Weaknesses:
Bit heavy, and rear wheel removal is a challenge (internal-gear hub.)

Similar Products Used:
Road, mountain, recumbent, etc. etc. bikes.

Price Paid:  $1000.00 at Bike Shop

Model Year:
2004

Favorite Ride:
Griffith Park to La Tuna Cayon

Bike Setup:
Stock, but added finders so I would not get dirt or mud up my back side...

Summary:
Wow, I looked all over the place for a standard communter type bike, I found some really great bikes, but Way outside my price randge, the Burley fit the bill, and, I like the look of single speed bikes, and the Burley has a great look, because of the rear hub is an internal 7 speed.

Strengths:
Great frame and great detail, the folks at Burley are also wonderful if you have questions or need help.

Weaknesses:
A little heavy and a little slow up hills going into a head wind, but that could just be me?

Similar Products Used:
Only thing I have close to this is a Cannondale Hybrid H600, Also a great bike, review for another time.
