Strengths: It rides nice when not brokenWeaknesses: Lots, Catastrofic frame failure, some of the cheepest parts I have ever seenBottom Line: The bikr isw junk, All the componets died in the first year and Felt's only commet was the gayrentee is only on the frame. I replaced parts with upgrades and, as if on Q the frame broke at a bad weld on the seat tube maybe a fluke? It took 5 weeks to get a new frame. Different color and name now a Gridlock. It has been less than a year and the frame is broken in the same bubble gum weld spot as the first frame.. Felt does not appear to return emails.. DO NOT BUY THIS BIKE, it is a lemon and Felt is a rotton fish

Strengths: Stiff responsive frame, lightweight at 8.5 kgs (by my standards!) The flip flop rear 700c wheel lets you run single speed or fixed. Very attractive cream (custard) colour scheme with anodised green bolts, white deep rims, white chain and faux cork handgrips.
45 x 18 gearing is perfectly chosen for commuting. A combination axle spanner and bottle opener is attached to the downtube by wing nuts.
The handlebar is a straight 54 cm length of over-sized chromed alloy. It allows for aggressive manhandling of the bike and powerful hill climbing out of the saddle.
Brakes are Tektro Al704 and they work decisively on the machined rims.
The Vittoria Zaffiro tyres seem to complement the bike.Weaknesses: Saddle is unyielding. Frame proportions seem small. At my height of 182 cms, a 58 cm frame is suggested. This gives a long 22cm extension for the saddle tube and the fitted 90mm stem strechted me out a little more than is comfortable .Bottom Line: The 2010 Felt Curbside is an attractive looking flat handlebar, Single Speed/Fixie alloy framed bicycle running 700c wheels. As supplied the 45x18 gearing is well chosen for town riding and commuting. In use the bike is silent and fast and attracts admiring looks. My only minor criticism is of the unyielding saddle - it looks the part but failed to please my derriere.
I fitted a honey coloured B17 Brooks saddle. I love this bike!

Strengths: What sold me on the bike was the fit. The sizes run really small. So the 51cm runs like most 47cm and the 54 is about the size of a 51cm. I'm small so this all works out. (If your big then the sizes are going to be way off.)Weaknesses: Flexy frame, crap parts, Had the break levers fall part after a week. The worst break pads I've ever seen. Awful freewheel. The rims are heavy and wet painted including the brake surface which equals ear drum splittingBottom Line: This review is for a 2009 curbside.
Looks great but really an awful bike all the way around. Bought the bike for a completely flat 6 mile round trip commute to work. In less than 1 week had to warranty the brake levers, freewheel.
The internal brake cable guide keeps falling out of the frame. Now after 19 days the BB is blown. Frame is flexy I'm small, 125 lbs and I've never been able to flex a frame til now.
The rims have been wet painted not powercoat, including the brake surface. It didn't occur to me that would be a problem but trying to get the breaks to stop squeaking is impossible And has shredded the crap break pads that had to be replaced after 2 weeks.
Top tube pad is 2 pieces a foam tube and a vinyl cover. They both slide around which is just annoying.
I've never had so many problems with a bike. And I rode a Pista for 3 years as a messenger. I mean common on the pista is a total POS.
Gearing is all of 66 inches which would be fine in a really hilly area but on the flats you'll max out the gear quickly.

The fact this bike has room for fenders and 28c's is great. The other single speeds that have fender eyelets weigh several pounds more and are 4130. And the fact its AL mean you don't have to worry bout rust (all nice while riding through a CO winter)Carbon fork and a integrated headset makes life pretty easy too.
The bars are nice and the 1st thing EVERYONE notices. They're 31.8 all the way across. Comes with a little wrench to deal with the funky drop outs. And it is shiny.Weaknesses: Flexy frame, crap parts, Had the break levers fall part after a week. The worst break pads I've ever seen. Awful freewheel. squeaking (even with kool stops). Funky drop outs. Bars, have to be taped due to size and if you lose a bar end your screwed. Saddle looks great but is a weird shape with no give to it at all. So completely uncomfortable after only a couple of miles. 3/32 chain, should be a 1/8 so you don't have to adjust chain tension every couple of days

Strengths: Snappy acceleration. Lightweight. Great set up for the money. Lightweight aluminum frame and carbon fork for $600.Weaknesses: Saddle is uncomfortable after a short ride.
A few defects in the paint.Bottom Line: What a fun bike. This thing takes off like a rocket. Stoplight to stoplight sprints are a blast.
Don't be turned off by the argyle pad and saddle. It grows on you!!
