at The Bike Rack, Water Model Year: 2007 Favorite Ride: Larkin trail Bike Setup: Added SPD pedals Summary: I needed a bike that allowed me to sit upright due to a hip replacement I had last fall. My other bike is a 4 year old Cannondale R-1000 and a 14 year old trek 750.
The Sendona is heavier than both of my other bikes. Most of my riding this year is on a trail near my house where conditions range from hard pack dirt to sand. The bike handles well and is comfortable to ride. Strengths: Solid construction, comfortable Weaknesses: Not a speed demon Similar Products Used: Trek 750

at Peformance bikes Model Year: 2005 Favorite Ride: so far this one Bike Setup: stock Summary: I'm a beginner and this one is good one to start with. Feels solid on dirt & gravel trails. slightly awkward on rougher terrain though, probably cuz of the higher seating position. Ride is comfy, as is the seat & front shocks. Grip shifts work well. Frame is relatively light and hybrid tires grip well on street and dirt. Overall a good value for a beginner bike. Strengths: versatility. sturdy frame. great for leisure riding with some bumps & curves, or as a commuter. Weaknesses: could be lighter. grip shifts could be improved (sometimes slip into another gear accidentally). Similar Products Used: none
