Strengths: Infinitely and easily adjustable handlebars (up, down, back, forward with one cam), infinitely and easily adjustable seat (up down, forward, back, tilt) with two cams.
Weaknesses: Heavier than other bikes. Also, one must keep one hand on the handlebars at all times, as the bars will "flop" to one side or another almost instantly. I had to fall once to find this out.
Bottom Line:
At 390 lbs when I decided to start riding, I wanted a comfortable bike which could take the strain. The Revive DX is certainly comfortable and infinitely adjustable, but I broke two rims before having a custom-built rim with heavier spokes and a thorn tube. This is NOT a defect of the bike; I simply exceeded the weight-bearing capacity of the bike. I ride three times a week on a fairly level bike path and could not be happier with the ride.
