at REI Model Year: 2007 Bike Setup: Stock - 2008 model Summary: Mine is actually a 2008, but no selection for that. Great bike and components. I like the angles and shapes of the frame bars. I've only ridden it a few times, but can really tell it is good. Bought a new close-out 2008 model in 2009 - great price (new going for 700, and I paid 470 - which makes it even nicer to ride!) Strengths: Strong power - Feels great when I kick off and start. Smooth shifting. Weaknesses: None Similar Products Used: Giant, Trek

at salida ca bike shop Model Year: 2007 Favorite Ride: ultra lite road bikes Bike Setup: stock except for changed to inexpensive kenda kwest street tires so I can corner better on smooth surfaces, the knobbier maxxis tires are more for gravel than street surfaces Summary: this bike is comfortable, can be adjusted to lots of different riding positions, comfortable to slightly aggresive. suspension seat post is easy on the rear. parts are very mtb, so it is strong, except for the forks which wobble when braking, too many gears, can ride for hours without feeling tired Strengths: looks great, frame is mtb strong, very comfortable, can go off road easily, nice for the price Weaknesses: 28 pounds, too many low gears, could lose some weight, forks wobble when you hit the brakes hard, only available in steel blue, but looks good with lots of black, lots of cheesy decals that are not reflective Similar Products Used: schwinn moab mtb with street slicks, cannondale bad boy ultra twice the price

at Second hand Model Year: 2006 Favorite Ride: Marin San Anselmo Summary: This bike is amazingly fast, very lightweight and comfortable to ride. I use it daily for commuting and it is good for weaving in and out of traffic. Brakes take some getting used to, can't really justify its £600 price tag but as a second hand bike its more than adequate. Looking forward to some serious rides around london on this bike and looking at the components I think it is going to last a long time. Strengths: light, fast, good quality bike Weaknesses: You feel the bumps in the road quite a bit
Harder to accelerate - its real strength lies when you are picking up pace, its jut a shame that on the roads in london you are always stopping and starting.

at REI Model Year: 2006 Favorite Ride: Marin San Anselmo Summary: Very well put together bike, not notch components, rides great. Primarily a commuter/street type bike, but can go on some trails. Larger wheels make path and street riding a breeze. Handlebar/seat configuration very comfortable. Very light bike. Strengths: light weight, top quality components Weaknesses: none.
