Strengths: Comfort, features, durability/dependability ( I beat it up and put it away wet), moderate weightWeaknesses: Not as fast a some narrower/taller tired hybrids, could be lighter yetBottom Line: As a 40 something guy needing to get some exercise, I turned to cycling around country roads, bikepaths etc in the NE. My $100 Diamondback mountain bike worked OK but I found it heavy and tireing. I found this model at a local bike shop and fell in love. I liked the step over frame, comfort seat, shock mitigating seat stem and handlebar mount. I REALLY liked the upright position I had while riding. The tires were 1.9" like a mountain bike but much smoother. Weight and riding smoothness were MUCH improved. After 4 years of ridign it, I still really like it and often have to wrestle it from my son who inheritied the diamondback.
