Price Paid:  $450.00 at Action Wheels -Sewel

Model Year:
2005

Favorite Ride:
EVERYWHERE! including saddle river park

Bike Setup:
STOCK 05 Specialized Crossroads XC Elite includes: (see website) http://www.specialized.com/bc/SBCBkModel.jsp?spid=9613&ti_sprd_ses=jdn%24j%3DIBE%3A1009%3AIBEGUEST%3AUS%3A%3AUSD%3ADD-MON-RRRR%3AJTFUCSS.CSS%3Ajtfpfalse%3Ajtfpi-1%3A671%3A22372%3A0%3A19136077%7Ezv%3D19136075%7Ezs%3Dt%7Ezp%3D1025%7Ezo%3D-1%7Ezm%3D10080%7Eses%3DCE70A38F74FD80EC4077C9C5FD5AB9A7%7Ezj%3DGuest%7Ezi%3D1025%7Eze%3D22372%7Eza%3D1023%7Ejsm%3DJTF_FULLSESSION%7Ejt%3D19136076&bikeTab=techspec

Summary:
My Hybrid is actually:
05' Specialized Crossroads SC Elite, but the Comp is 06' version and basically the same. Great sleak bike with mods to handle the road and mediocre off-roading. Great stock components!

Strengths:
Handles everything a commuter wants to tackle, including a little off-road exercise. Tackles pavements, grass, dirt, and water with no problem. Great stock components! Includes several options to accessorize your ride to your specific needs.

Weaknesses:
Mild mud and loose sand traps along the road can be a little tricky, but if you hold steady and don't peedle through them you should be fine (or get different tires)
Also, the ground clearance from pedal to floor is a little low, tends to scrape on turns if you lean too much. Otherwise very versatile!

Similar Products Used:
none yet, first bike in a while.
