at eRIC'S BIKE SHOP, mn Model Year: 2006 Favorite Ride: Specialize Sirrus elite Bike Setup: got new toe clips, fenders, & handle bar add ons. Summary: GOOD bike, use it everyday for work commute. Once a week i go for a 15 mile ride. good bike, but has its buts for daily users like me Strengths: light, great design, more comfortable than a road bike. Weaknesses: crappy gears, shifting gears always slips even when new, not for hard core use, pedal clips are cheap, therefore did not last. Similar Products Used: trek 7500

at lbs Bike Setup: brooks saddle, rack Summary: it's a road oriented touring or commuter bike. replaced cruise oriented parts: adjustable stem (w/fixed flipped stem), padded saddle (w/brooks leather saddle), full finger brake levers (w/two finger brake levers). also flipped handlebar spacers to lower stem, cut handlebar to narrower, shoulder width. added bar ends to provide alternative hand positions. now it's a fast, light, competitive road event machine that also is a good commuter. best bike for the price point for commuter/road event machine. one point off in overall rating for cruise components. Strengths: fast, value priced Weaknesses: somewhat cruise oriented Similar Products Used: mountain bike w/slicks
