Strengths: Low maintenance, very stable ride, very well built, easy to add a front rack, convenant rear wheel lock.
Best of all, full chain case that is easy to remove to fix a flat.
Weaknesses: Trek no longer sells the L200 in the USA. One day mine will wear out or something will happen to it and I can't replace it.
Bottom Line:
I own 4 differenty types of bikes.. The L200 gets lots of riding.. It is rain and winter friendly. Very stable and low maintenance.
I have contacted Trek asking them to bring the L200 back.. I would by three more as these are great bikes..
Yes, the bike is heavy, but it make my legs stronger and it is nothing for a ten mile commute... Even better on car-free trails.
