at Bike Barn Model Year: 2005 Bike Setup: Pros took care of the assembly. Summary: This is a good sturdy bike for my son who started this at 4 years old with training wheels but took it off soon after he was close to 5. The low bars in the middle helps him dismount. Neighbor kids have borrowed it and slammed it down on the concrete to my frown but it barely scratches on the seat and overall. It's a beautiful bike for years to come. Strengths: Tough, strong, and durable. Paint is still excellent. Weaknesses: Handle brakes will break when bike falls to the ground and my young son never used it anyway. Tread on wheel will wear down on constant skidding stop - adjusting the wheel once will a while will minimize this. Price is a little bit high but it's a reputable father and son's Trek. Similar Products Used: Graduated from Harley Davidson bike from Toys R Us.
