at Race Day Fitness Favorite Ride: Abici Podium Bike Setup: White Podium frameset, size L. Campy record w/ SRM cranks. Whatever wheels are true at the moment. Ritchey stuff-because it's the best. Summary: This is the first time I have ever written a review on a bike. But after having ridden and raced these two bikes for the past year, here is what I have to say: Great bike! Best race bike I have had yet. I really don't see the need for a carbon rear end when an all alu model feels this good! It is very stiff, but not rigid. Soaks up road vibrations very well. The bike just rails the descents, no wobble, just pure confidence at any speed. Feels good in a pack, rides straight and true. It looks good w/ nice decals if your into that. Soooo light! For the most part, weight does not make too much of a difference w/ a race bike, but w/ out even trying, I had this bike (a large) weigh in at just under 15 lbs. That was w/ carbon wheels, but everything else was pretty stock. The Podium climbes great, and accelerates like mad! I have raced tons of bikes, and the Abici Podium will be the last one! Highly recomended. Strengths: Light. Stiff. stable. Comfortable. Good looking. What more can I say? Weaknesses: Nothing, really! Similar Products Used: Cramerotti, Landshark, Look, Giant, Cervelo.
