at Abici Bike Setup: Abici frame/fork, Cane Creek integrated headset, profile bars and aerobars, Corima 4-spoke carbon wheels, mix of Ultegra and Dura-Ace components, carbon seatpost, and ti-railed saddle. Summary: I purchased the frameset and fork only from Abici and then built the rest of the bike up with Ultegra and Dura-Ace and my Corima carbon 4-spoke race wheels, so the reveiw is only on the frameset and fork.
The frame is absolutely gorgeous and handles extraordinarily well. I wasn't used to the "compact" look of the bike at first, but found that it really didn't make a difference. If you look at the top tube, you can see that it's very very low, just like a compact frame, but without the sloping top tube.
Also, I was very pleased with the full carbon fork and headset cap. Strengths: Lightweight, beautiful design and finish, super strong, handles corners great, and flies on the flats. Weaknesses: My LBC was helping me build the bike up and when we put the top tube into the clamp on the work stand, the paint was still soft and it got smeared just a TINY bit. Nothing that you can even notice without looking at it with a magnifying glass. But other than that, nothing I could find. Similar Products Used: GT Edge for my TT bike.
