Strengths:    due to the fact that its a midrange roadbike most dealers are pretty eager to get them out of the shop. For an essentially all aluminium frame its quite light. very stable at high speeds and smooth as silk gears and crank. Decent dual pivot brakes to match. Not top quality groupsets but still fairly good. (the lower end of middle range shimano). Due to its drop bars its really easy to get some serious power into the pedals.

Weaknesses:    Wheels. The wheels look and feel quite flimsy and personally i dont like the look of six thousand spokes. The tires are low end kenda and the spokes do that annoying vibrating sound when you're moving the bike around and inevitably the wheels hit the ground.

Bottom Line:
fast stable mid range road bike, extremely tough. wheels are a bit low end but the rest of the bike compensates amazingly.

Considering I am not a competitive cyclist that weights ... Read More »
