at LBS Model Year: 2007 Favorite Ride: Highway 2 Bike Setup: 105/ultegra, mavic aksium, ITM Summary: Got a pretty good deal on this bike. It's great for the price, especially considering that it used to be their top of the line bike just a few years ago. It's a vast improvement from the aluminum Scott Waimea I'd been riding on in terms of comfort, while still being as, if not more, stiff in the bottom bracket. It isn't the lightest bike, but it's mostly because of the components, not the frameset. As my first all-carbon bike it's been great so far and has left me wanting for little else(except maybe some lighter wheels, internal cable routing, and a full ultegra or DA setup)! It even has aerodynamic aspirations with tapered down and seat tubes (the seat tube even has a slight rear wheel cutout), although it is nowhere near as slippery as say, a Soloist.
Oh, and the white pain combined with the naked carbon along the top tube combine for a great, distinctive look.
