Description The only trend we care about is winning. That's why we use high modulus, unidirectional carbon fiber for the front triangle, and ultra-light, race-proven aluminum for the rear. Ingeniously melded thou...
Bike Setup: Si Crank, Dura Ace parts, Ritchey stem and Salsa aluminum bars
Summary: Great bike - balanced handling, carves turns like it is on rails, and very responsive at the pedals. Absolutely no complaints, even the ride is good, probably better than my Cervelo
Strengths: Handling, responsiveness in sprints, excellent ride quality, Si crank is absolutely top notch
Weaknesses: a little heavier than some others, but doesn't make a difference to a load like me.

Bike Setup: 07 Sys six: DA/Ultegra mix, Ksyrium SL wheels
Summary: Rode the bike for a little more than 6 months. Fast, responsive and stiff. Fair-poor ride quality as you should expect with aluminum rear triangle. If you are not a criterium racer, this bike is probably not for you. The geometry is rather uncomfortable for longer rides and the color schemes are boring. If you are thinking about buying this bike, you should be ready to deal with clear coat damage and paint chips regularly.
Strengths: Fast, stiff, responsive, 1.5" headtube good (but overrated) for control, BB30 crank gets an A.
Weaknesses: TERRIBLE clear coat, tin can ride, over weight, certainly does not have the looks of a $2500 bike. Not good on any ride longer than 40 miles.
Bike Setup: ultegra sl groupo. carbon si crankset. fulcrum 5 evo wheels.
Summary: if you are on this site trying to do research on the system six to see if its legitimate, let me tell you that i was in the same shoes a few months ago. without even riding the frame, i ordered it. ballsy i know. it is by far the best frame ive ever ridden. get it.you wont regret it. the aluminum carbon mix is a bit unusual but it works. its stiff. bmc currently has an 09 thats kind of similar.
Strengths: stiff and fast
Weaknesses: the stem. if you have a shorter or longer torso than you might have trouble finding a stem. cannondale as a business sucks.

Favorite Ride: 70-80 miles with rollers, climbs and beautiful nature in the countryside
Bike Setup: Dura Ace 7800 except brakes which are Cannondale C-1 with Kool Stop pads...
Summary: Terrific bike all around...great for sprinting, great for climbing...precise handling...indeed, very stiff...arione saddle took me a bit to get dialed in, but, now that I have it set right, it is a fine saddle...no issues with comfort whatsoever...the longest I've gone on it so far is 100 miles, but, I've done many 60-90 mile rides and comfort has never been an issue.
Strengths: handling, climbing, sprinting...this is a racing machine...the bike is used, but, for the price that I paid on eBay, the value is great.
Weaknesses: None whatsoever thus far...I got this for racing and it delivers!

Summary: I got this bike because I learned it wouldn't be produced any more, and everyone that has it has raved about its stiffness. I have ridden on this bike about 4 times and raced it yesterday in a criterium. This bike is so STIFF it delivers pure power transfer with every pedal stroke. It is the best sprinting bike I've ever been on. Also, the bike is SUPERB on descents; any twitchiness on downhills in the headtube area is completely cancelled out.
I would not recommend this bike for a century ride that doesn't have the best roads because it is too stiff for that situation. But for races and club rides under 50 miles, it's terrific.
Strengths: Stiff

Stiff
Weaknesses: A little bit harsh on bumps coming off the all-aluminum rear triangle.
