The Strato is Cinelli's highest performance frame; to say, this is their race-bred offering. Using monocoque construction and their highest modulus carbon fiber, the Strato is an extremely stiff frameset, providing incredible pedaling efficiency and handling. These features are reinforced by the use of a BB30 bottom bracket and 1.5" tapered, oversized headtube.
Weaknesses: A bit expensive, but most good things are.

The Strato has most of the snap that a great steel bike has... most of the ride quality too... But my fantastic steel bikes can not match the solid feel, awesome power transfer and low weight of this bike. More feedback than the Pro Best of that I missed from my steel bikes. This is bike is an amazing all-rounder and may have ended my search for the holy grail of bikes. I used carbon bars and the Syntace "Flex" post to tune the ride to perfection.
a friend just bought a Cinelli Strato, and i am going to do the build for him. the only thing is, i am not sure what kind of bottom bracket to use to install a Campagnolo Chorus Ultra-Torque crankset...

Not a brand you see everyday (well, at least I don't). What a beautiful frame - I think I heart this bike. :)
