I have 2500 miles on it and it's a champ.
No problems with it at all.

Strengths:
Responsive compared to my steel bike. It wants to ride out from under me when I put the hammer down. I feel like I have to wind my steel bike up to get moving.

Sorry, I made some typos.
I'm 188cm (6.2) not 198cm. I wanted 59cm frame that has 58 cm top tube.
Since my review I figured that my bar is too low, so I plan to put some other stem that will solve this problem. It is very hard to be in the drops this way.
I have also noticed that cable holders on vertical tube are positioned so that cables can rub against frame and will take the paint off eventualy.

I ordered the frame only and had it built at my LBS with the parts I wanted. The price above is for the complete bike, not only the frame.
I'm 198cm, and have 90kg +-2. I wanted 59cm frame that has 68 cm top tube, but my LBS had 57cm one at the shop. I took that one because Ihad to wait 3-4 months for another one. The most important size on the bike, for me, is top tube length, and DeRosa is relatively long compared to Colnago for example. Top tube on 57cm DeRosa equals 59-60cm Colnago, so I thought I could squeeze just fine on that one and bought it. And it showed that I wasn't wrong :)
With 12 cm stem it suits me perfect. It could be a little higher, but doesn't matter this has some benefits too. It is a bit lighter, more respondive, and looks more agressive.
The price I paid is very low. Frame itself is around $1200 US, and I got complete bike for $1500...that was a good deal.
Frame itself is of the highest quality. You can not see a single weld, colour is great and beautiful and it has some coll details.
I don't think there are many frame manufactures that can make their budget model like this. All my friends lust for Colnago, but it is DeRosa all the way for me :) Here in Europe evry second bike is Colnago, but you won't see much DeRosas. It is very exclusive and that makes it even more cool. I'm sure that my next (or other) bike will be DeRosa too.
Everything is Shimano 105 besides Ultegra BB and Dura-Ace front der. I don't think that Ultegra or Dura-Ace parts can offer better performance so I took budget level 105 an I'm glad I did. In the past I had much problems with front der anb BB so spent more money there. Wheeles are Mavic Cosmos 03'. They are not bad for lighter guys but I'm sorry now that I didn't get something stronger. Rear wheel needs to be trued every month, but it doesn't have anything to do with DeRosa that im reviewing now.
I put Cinelli stem, Deda bar and Thomson elite post. Saddle is Selle Italia SLR Gel Flow.

How does it ride? Well it rides great.
Don't be misled. Even if it is the budget AL frame from DeRosa it is racing frame. Hard, responsive and fast. It is a bit heavier than some other DeRosa fremes but still on the light side. For stronger/bigger guys like me more material on the frame is esential, at least if you pay your own toys. Ultralight stuff just isn't for me nor my wallet.
As I said this frame is great for racers (that don't have sponsors) and fast club rides. If you need much comfort take a look at steel or titanium DeRosa frames, they be more suitable.
Bike handling is fantastic. I didn't encounter a single nervous situation. But I don't decend very fast so it is possible there is something I don't know. Mizuno carbon fork will take you over the bumps just fine. When I tried it for the first time I could belive just how good it absorbs bumps.
Bike climbs like a goat, it is very responsive and transmission of the power is great. Flex in bb area is minimum, someone lighter will not have it at all. I can produce something about 950W which is quite impresive, and if it doesn't flex under me it sure is an strong frame.
Don't know what else to say, I have done some 5500km in first 7 months of this year and most of them were joy. The only time I felt I need something more comfortable was on 335km long ride from Bratislawa to Zagreb (in 1 day), but I dont do that every day.

Summary:
I bough a De Rosa Team back in April 04 after much research. I put on a pair of Mavic Kysirium SL wheels and the group set was this years Shimano Duraace. I also changed the seatpost to a Carbon MagiStick .
AS soon as I upgraded this bike flew I am 187cm and it is only a 56cm frame but no problem with bike fit. It is an all aluminium bike and better than the Pinarello Prince I also tried and similar to Cannondale R3000. Tye Italian frame is excellent and the SL wheels get you back in on hill climbs. Swap out the seat post though as it comes with a crappy cheap one and it deserves top end wheels as well. I dont think the Merak (next model up ) would be much better. A swift light ride. Recommended - better than a lot of Treks and Giants etc just generally not well known or stocked

Strengths:
Good Paint job, light, stiff and good for tall guys like me. Durace is better than Record componnet wise and aluminium is better tnan carbon - more responsive.

Weaknesses:
Cheap seat post and mid range wheels
swap out for better.
