at La Cordée, Canada Favorite Ride: Bromont-Sutton-Lac Brome Bike Setup: Original CX1 2009, all 105, Mavic Aksium. 19.8 Lbs ready to ride (with pedals, pump, 2 bottle hangers) Summary: Well balanced, very confortable and performant bike. Nice paint. Made in Québec.
Full Shimano 105 works perfectly. Mavic wheels are a little too flashy but very resistant and correct aerodynamic and weight.
Frame is beautifully designed, curvy and nice looking. Front is compact and very stiff.
Could be improved with lighter wheels if you are not too heavy, and definitely better tires. Strengths: Beautiful and well designed frame, very confortable and still stiff and responsive. Weaknesses: Tires. Deserves more performant tires to get better feeling on the road. Similar Products Used: Trek 5200
