Summary:
My previous ride was aluminum, WOW does the carbon frame make a difference it just sucks up the vibration and bumps. Components are adequate and work well, Ultegra rear derailleur and a mix of Tiagra and FSA covers the rest. The bike is comfortable, flipped the handlebar stem to give more upright ride. I have upgraded all components to Ultegra and Dura Ace through e-bay purchases. Biggest improvement went to Ultegra hubs and Mavic CX33 rims. Plan to keep this bike for a few years.

Brakes are terrible, first thing to upgrade

Summary:
For the price (on sale for $1000 CDN at LBS), it is a great bike. The carbon frame is much more forgiving than aluminum on bumpy roads. That said, Devinci has cut some corners on components to hit its price point with this bike. The stock Promax brakes are horrible ... very little stopping power in the best of conditions, and in the rain it's as if you have no brakes at all. The stock wheelset is also pretty weak (Shimano 500's) ... They must not pre-stress the wheels/spokes b/c both my wheels would go out of true repeatedly after about 500km of riding. The wheels also have a lot of flex ... which is particularly noticeable on climbs. I have replaced the 500s with Neuvation M28 Aero 4s which are stiff and responsive. The Truvativ crankset also leaves something to be desired. I've replaced it with a Shimano R700 crankset which performs beautifUlly. I've also replaced most of the other components with a mix of DA and Ultegra. I plan to upgrade to DA shifters (7800s) next season. With the upgraded componentry (all bought at good discounts online), it is a very nice bike.

Summary:
Was looking for a new road bike. But price tag even for a 2100$ bike ads up face once you add on taxes, pedals and shoes. Found this bike on sale and everything included cost me about 2 grand. Have been out every weekend since I bought it, and its a nice little number for the price. Can`t really tell you if its better or worst than the very pricey stuff, but for my money I am satisifed more or less. Had a lot of good comments about it.

Strengths:
-derailer is decent
-nice and lite

Weaknesses:
-definitely the brakes, if pushing it you have to know well in advance you will need them cause they don`t exactly grab. Will be the first thing i change.
-tires already have wobble and warp in them, not sure if this is normal or not, I am guessing not, even for a road bike.
