Strengths: Cheap, 27 speed, Quality is superior.
Weaknesses: The design could be a little more flashier.Bottom Line: First off my bike is a 2008 Felt z90. Great overall bike. Everything is nice. Not the absolute smoothest ride, but not the worst. Also a nice seat to handlebar, perfect fit. I love it.
Favorite Ride: Down my street, 2 cities over, and back.

Strengths: price, look, handeling, weight.Weaknesses: ???Bottom Line: this bike is good for the money. it is my first road bike. i have had a lot of mountain bikes and a couple of hybrids for commuting but my commute is now 30 miles each way so a road bike was in order. i like the way it handles, and the components all deliver. no problems or complaints. plus, guys bike shop is great. they take care of the customer before and and after the sale.

Strengths: Good value; some nice components; will climb anything; safe handlingWeaknesses: Pedals and possibly weak rimsBottom Line: I had a very limited budget when looking for a bike, and that meant the choice was restricted to a few bikes. I chose the Felt not just because of the bike's feel, but also for the service I received at the store, i.e., they staff didn't shuffle around impatiently once they heard my budget. I have been pleased with the purchase so far. It handles well enough, with no unpredictable hops or slides. The frame feels well built and the Felt and Cane Creek components are of good quality. The carbon forks absorb Baltimore city judders without any obvious nervousness, while the carbon seatpost does the same at the other end. The standard seat is OK - no problems with soreness on longer trips. I've put it to the test on the biggest of the Baltimore area's hills (steeper than you might think, if you don't know the area), and it climbs anything you put in front of it, although it occasionally gets a bit bouncy in the lowest granny gear. The combination of Sora shifters and Tiagra derailleurs is a bit aery-faery, and is just now bedding in after multiple adjustments, but the triple is useful and, again, is good value for $769. The standard tires are Vittoria Zaffiros which roll smoothly and haven't shown any tendency to slip in the wet and no flats so far. I have already had to have the rear wheel (Alex R500) re-trued, after riding over the fierce slatted bridges on the BWI Trail, so that's something I'll have to watch. Although the bridges have a reputation for knocking road wheels about, I still don't think they should be going out of round after 400 miles. I sense an upgrade coming on. The basket pedals are rubbish and have a week to live. The brakes are decent and reliable - I kept the bar top levers although that's not the cool thing to do, because they work well and if you ride in Baltimore you need to retain as many ways of stopping as you can because the cars don't. In all, a great starter bike. I won't spend a ton on upgrades because for the cost of the Z90 plus pricey new gear you can get a whole bike, but I like the Felt Z90 and can heartily recommend it.
Favorite Ride: Anywhere that leads out of the city
