Strengths:    Strong in the bottom bracket area with little flex, but still has some comfort for longer rides
Nice light frame with a good build for it price range making it a good value.

Weaknesses:    wish it had 27.2 seatpost instead of a 31.6 for even a better ride on oil and chip seal roads
lighter wheelset would go long way for climbing which I did change out to a set of Boyds which care of this problem.

Bottom Line:
This is one of the best buys out there now for your hard earn money I could find . It is a endurance bike with a little racy feel to it that climbs good plus you can stay on the saddle all day with feeling beat up. I have put 3000 miles on it with little regret of owning it and besides that it is head turner at pay rides..

OC Gran Fondo

Anyone going to be riding the OC Gran Fondo? I just signed up for the metric. My friend is going to do the 91 miles and we're gonna see who gets to each SAG stop first. Should be fun. OC Gran Fondo 2014Read More »

Just bought the new Gran Fondo 3.0 LE from performance with 11 speed 105

I'm fairly new to the forums and just purchased my first step-up bike. I started cycling about 8 months ago for health reasons. I started with a Raleigh Misceo 1.0 because I wasn't sure I would like cycling and it fit me perfect and wasn't intimidating to a new rider. Turns out cycling is for me, ac ... Read More »
