at Hudson Trail Outfitt Model Year: 2007 Favorite Ride: Road in northern Maryland Summary: This is for the giant tcr c1 2008...Picked it up brand new on clearance in 2009 for a song... I road a 2001 Giant OCR 1 but then got fed up with the triple and so went with the tcr C1. Haven't looked back. The C1 is light. The wheelset (Kysrium elites) really do the trick with their low rotational weight. Takes my breath away at how fast it accelerates. Nice an smooth. Fairly stiff, perhaps a bit of flex, but nothing bad. Strengths: Light weight. Nice wheelset. Full Ultegra SL. Weaknesses: A bit twitchy at low speeds, or is it nimble? Stem and bar are ok, but not my favorite..

at Derby Bike Shop Model Year: 2007 Favorite Ride: Mornings before work Bike Setup: Stock Ultegra and Dura Ace Summary: Stepped up from a steel frame Fuji Roubaix. What a change. It's lighter, smoother and feels like the power gets to the wheels easier. I have increased my aveage speed on morning rides by 1-2 mph. Even riding into the winds seems easier. I've had the bike 2 weeks and put 400 miles on it. What a joy to ride. Strengths: Smooth and tight Weaknesses: None so far Similar Products Used: Scatantti R650 but it's not really in the same league

at Lygon Cycles Model Year: 2007 Favorite Ride: beach rd Bike Setup: Stock Summary: This is for an Australian version of the 2008 TCR C1. Instead it has the green paint job instead of the yellow one pictured here.
I also have a Giant 2005 OCR3. I have been riding road bikes for about 3 years so I am not overly experienced. Strengths: Definitely the weight, the stiffness of the crank and the wheels. This bike is designed to be quick. Unfortunately the standard of the bike is too good for me. Something like the TCR A2 or C2 will be more suited to me instead. The bike is great value for money. It has very good components. Weaknesses: The saddle is not comfortable for me. I am a 5"7 64kg rider. My bottom starts hurting after 20 kms of riding. Similar Products Used: Giant OCR 3. Definitely a big difference between the 2 bikes. The Sora groupset on the OCR is definitely not as smooth and refined. The shifters are not good but it is reliable and durable. Unless you are competing or racing, I personally think the 105 groupset is good enough.
