Strengths: Ride Quality - would think twice before looking at a carbon frame for brevet type riding after riding this bike.
Javelin Customer Service
Weaknesses: Thought I was buying an American made bike (did not ask) box the frame came in said made in Taiwan designed in the USA.
4 for value due to price - frame is still less expensive than steel Serrotta or Seven bicycles.Bottom Line: Javelin Boca 2008 Frameset only.
Bought through a local bike shop - However was able to talk to Javelin customer service before purchase and they were top notch. Would deal with them again.
Was lucky enough to find a bike shop in town that was able to fit me and took time to ensure that this bike was set-up for what I intend to use it for.
This is Javelins one and only relaxed geometry titanium bicycle and with one brevet (300k) + 100 miles on it I would have to say so far this is the smoothest most comfortable bicycle I have had the pleasure of riding.
Again alot of credit to the local bike shop for ensuring proper fit and components.
This bike will primarly be used for Brevets and local centuries.
