Strengths: aero, stiff, comfortable, light, beautifulWeaknesses: it can break (mine has not yet)Bottom Line: feels like it wants to go forward, no matter what move i make, even if i sneeze.
i have numerous bikes, but this was my first full carbon. bought it from a local pro who got the frame as a replacement after a crash destroyed his first frame. this is now my favorite bike.
it feels amazing and i love every line and curve of it. but knowing that a crash can take it out scares me. so i set it up just as my weekend cruising bike, and will keep my steel frame for crits.

Strengths: Stiffness

Ride and handling
ConstructionWeaknesses: I haven't found one yet.Bottom Line: I purchased the frame, fork, seat post, 2011 SRAM Red Groupo, and Ritchey bar and stem from Bicycle Doctor USA (highly recommended). This bike is just beautiful. The construction is top notch. The frame is stiff, light, aero and very comfortable over rough roads. It handles very well and is very stable at speed and cornering. The bike as built with bottle cages (carbon) and pedals weighs 16.1 lbs.

Strengths: Silky power transfer
Effortless acceleration
Solid feel
Stealthy good looksWeaknesses: Not the lightest, but each gram=increase acceleration
Saddle will be hit or miss based on rider sizeBottom Line: Stellar ride. The RT900 is an aggressive ride with the ability to chill out, too. This is not the lightest frame you will find, but with the Dura Ace build, it's still plenty light. Stiffness at the bottom bracket is off the charts- much stiffer than my Cannondale R900 - so acceleration is effortless and silky. As a clydesdale, I usually can't hang with the more petite guys on climbs, but was effortlessly glued to a wheel this morning on a pitch well known for shredding big people. Despite the stiffness in all the right places, it feels very smooth on flats and I can easily close paceline gaps just by thinking about it. If you're coming off an older carbon cruiser that is more about comfort than speed, this bike will feel quite stiff overall, but it's worth it for the acceleration.
